UPDATE: Mobile Home Fire in Desert Hot Springs, Three Residents Displaced

Update 2:20 p.m. A mobile home caught fire Friday in the unincorporated Desert Hot Springs area and three residents were displaced, according to Cal Fire.

The fire in the 13500 block of Colony Road was contained at 12:38 p.m. Jan. 17, Jody Hagemann of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in an update.

The American Red Cross was called out to assist three adults who were displaced, Hagemann said. No injuries were reported. Information about the cause was not available.

 A fire broke out Friday and severely damaged a mobile home in the unincorporated Desert Hot Springs area, according to Cal Fire.

The fire was reported at 12:14 p.m. Jan. 17 in the 13500 block of Colony Road, Jody Hagemann of Cal Fire-Riverside County said in a statement.

Six engine crews responded and the first personnel on scene reported a mobile home fully involved, Hagemann said. The Sheriff's Department was requested for traffic control.
