Motorist Crashes, Trapped, Suffers Minor Injuries

The crash on Jefferson Street, near Avenue 50, in La Quinta, was reported at 5:33 p.m.

A motorist escaped serious injuries in a Christmas Day crash requiring extrication by firefighters in La Quinta, officials said.

The single-vehicle crash on Jefferson Street, near Avenue 50, was reported at 5:33 p.m., according to a Cal Fire/Riverside County fire information officer.

Emergency crews had the motorist freed in about 15 minutes, officials reported.

The injured person was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to fire officials.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
