A motorist was trapped and seriously injured Sunday in a crash in Palm Desert, Cal Fire officials said.
The crash was reported about 9:30 a.m., on Portola Avenue and Highway 111.
No others were in the vehicle at the time of the wreck, Cal Fire reported.
