Palm Desert Man Arrested for Murder in Indio Shooting
The Palm Desert man is accused of murder in the deadly shooting of an Indio man that happened on June 16.
A 21-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a 20-year-old man in Indio, a police spokesman said.
Shawn Anthony Wynn was arrested about 3:35 p.m. in the death of Indio resident Juan Carlos Hernandez, who was found shot to death June 16 in an off- white Cadillac parked near Lancer Gate and Merlin Drive, Indio police Sgt. Dan Marshall said.
Detectives believe there may be one or more suspects still at large, he said. A person of interest was detained, and search warrants were served in the case last week.

Wynn will be booked into a county jail on suspicion of murder tonight, he said.
