Palm Desert Man Accused Of Attempted Rape

The Riverside County District Attorney is considering filing charges against local man in connection with an attempted rape in Palm Desert.

The Riverside County District Attorney's office is determining whether to file charges against a Palm Desert man in regards to an alleged attempted rape.

Sheriff’s investigators arrested Kenneth Dean Anderson, 55, of Palm Desert on multiple charges stemming from the attempted rape report in the 73-000 block of Guadalupe Avenue in Palm Desert on Sunday. 

Authorites are not releasing any further details of the alleged attack to protect the investigation.

Anderson was booked into Indio Jail, and was released after posting $50,000 bail.
