Palm Desert police blotter for Nov. 9-13
A review of reported crimes from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, which is staffed by sheriff's deputies.
Sunday, Nov. 13
11:01 a.m.: Officers responded to the 45000 block of Sunset Lane regarding a loud music call. Alicia Fuentes, 33, was in her garage playing the music loud. Officers previously investigated a commercial burglary at Target in which Fuentes was the suspect. A search warrant was subsequently authored for the residence.
3:28 p.m.: Palm Desert deputies responded to the 74000 block of Falcon Lane reference a near drowning. Cal Fire performed CPR and transported a 1 ½-year-old child to a local hospital for treatment. The child is expected to make a full recovery.

Friday, Nov. 11
1:45 a.m.: Officers arrested Joshua Eddy, 22, of Palm Springs for driving while under the influence at Highway 111 and Town Center.
2 p.m.: Officers arrested Jennifer Curtis, 25, of Palm Desert for burglary at the Starbucks Coffee store located in the 42-000 block of Washington St. Curtis entered the business with the intent to steal the tip jar.
4:20 p.m.: Officers arrested Richard Carrera, 43, of Palm Desert for shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance, in the 72000 block of Highway 111.
Thursday, Nov. 10
10:02 a.m.: Officers arrested Karl Huffman, 43, of Bermuda Dunes for possession of prescription narcotics for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 77000 block of Michigan Avenue.
11:20 a.m.: Officers arrested Jason Lane, 28, of Indio for possession of methamphetamine in the 42000 block of Washington Street.
Wednesday, Nov. 9
8 p.m.: Officers responded to the Michigan Apartments in regard to a 911 (unknown trouble). Dispatch told officers that Eric Moll, 31, of Palm Desert assaulted his grandmother, had a gun and was holding her inside the apartment. Officers soon learned the grandmother was not inside. Officers entered the apartment and took Moll into custody after a brief struggle.
