Palm Desert Teen Arrested in Local Burglary

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department says the teen is suspected of burglarizing a home earlier this month in Palm Desert.

A Palm Desert teenager was arrested Friday, after police say they discovered his connection to a recent home break-in.

18-year-old David Landrum was arrested by the Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) at a residence in the 75200 block of Via Manzano, Near Cook Street and Hovley Lane East, according to sheriff's Sergeant Brad Farwell.

According to Farwell, a house in the Vista Del Montanas gated community was burglarized on April 11.  Since that time, Palm Desert investigators have been examining the evidence, and through their follow up investigation, pegged Landrum as one of the possible suspects.
