PD Man Arrested in String of Burglaries

Stolen items found in two locations, leading to arrest

A Palm Desert man suspected in burglaries in Palm Desert was behind bars today.

Dominick Nicholas Longo, 20, was arrested on suspicion of possession of
stolen property and possession of a stolen loaded firearm Thursday afternoon in Bermuda Dunes, where authorities also served a search warrant and found items stolen in burglaries in Palm Desert, sheriff's Sgt. Brad Farwell said.

The warrant was related to another search warrant served earlier in the
day at a residence in 43700 block of Louisiana Street in Palm Desert, where
authorities also found items stolen in Palm Desert burglaries, Farwell said.

Longo was booked at the county jail in Indio and was being held in lieu
of $5,000 bail. He was expected to be arraigned Monday at the Larson Justice
Center in Indio, according to jail records
