PD Man Arrested on Suspicion Of Burglary
Michael Martin Tafoya, 35, was taken into custody Monday afternoon in Palm Desert.
A 35-year-old man – already on probation for driving under the influence – was behind bars today on suspicion of burglary.
Michael Martin Tafoya, 35, was arrested Monday afternoon at 31 Diamond Drive in Palm Desert after deputies responded to a report of a burglary, said Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Tafoya was booked into Indio Jail early Tuesday on suspicion of felony residential burglary. He was being held on $25,000 bail, according to jail records.

The location of the alleged crime was not immediately available.
Tafoya pleaded guilty in March to two counts of misdemeanor DUI and was sentenced to three years probation.
