PD Police Nab Alleged Serial Burglar

The Thousand Palms man is suspected of committing three home burglaries, police said.

A Thousand Palms man was jailed Friday in connection to a series of home break-ins and stealing a car in the Coachella Valley, police and jail records indicated.

Anthony Houston Machado, 20, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by members of the Palm Desert Station Burglary Suppression Unit and the Indian Wells Special Enforcement Team, according to sheriff's Sergeant Brad Farwell.

Farwell said the teams found the man at a home in the 31-700 block of Arbol Real, near Ramond Road and Monterey Avenue.

"Machado was wanted in connection to three residential burglaries, and stealing a vehicle," Farwell said, adding that one of the burglaries happened in Indian Wells, while the other two were in Thousand Palms.

The vehicle theft also happened in Thousand Palms, he said.

Jail records indicated Machado was being held in lieu of $70,000 bail at the Indio jail.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
