Wednesday, October 3

3:33 p.m.:  Officers responded to a past vehicle burglary at the College of the Desert. The victim locked their vehicle in the parking lot at the college on at about 12:30 p.m. and returned at about 3:35 p.m to find the vehicle unlocked. A Sony CD player, Apple Ipad, and laptop computer were taken from the vehicle

7:19 p.m.:  Officers responded to a call of a DUI driver, and stolen vehicle at Highway 111 and San Luis Rey Avenue. Jose Antonio Garcia, 35, from Desert Hot Springs, was arrested for felony evading, possession of stolen property and possession of hypodermic syringes.

10:23 p.m.:  Officers conducted a pedestrian check at Motel 6 on Varner Road. Julian Juarez, age 36 of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested for a no-bail warrant.
