Here's the Palm Desert police blotter for April 6-10:

Sunday, April 10

1:02 a.m.: Officers responded to Washington Street and Hovley Lane reference a non-injury traffic collision and arrested Christina Rodriguez, 22, of Palm Desert for driving under the influence of alcohol.

1:36 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Las Palmas and Palm Desert Drive and arrested Heather Price, 30, of Indio for driving under the influence of alcohol.

1:06 p.m.: Officers responded to Chelsea Circle regarding a spousal abuse. James Brunson, 65, was arrested for domestic violence.

3:19 p.m.: Officers responded to 72840 Highway 111, Westfield Mall, "Powered by Namco," regarding a 17-year-old passing a fictitious bill. The juvenile placed a fictitious bill into one of the machines. The juvenile had an extensive arrest record and was booked into Indio Juvenile Hall.

Saturday, April 9

9:24 a.m.: Officers responded to the 77900 block of Hidden River on a follow-up to a stolen vehicle investigation. The victim reported that his 16-year-old granddaughter stole his car on 04-04-11. The 16-year-old returned home last night and the victim demanded prosecution for stealing his car. The 16-year-old was detained and transported to the station, where she confessed to stealing the car on 04-04-11. She was booked into Juvenile Hall for stealing the car.

11:27 a.m.: Officers responded to the 77800 block of Michigan reference a temporary restraining order violation. Investigation showed Ryan Garlan, 31, of Indio was at the location earlier, in violation of a restraining order. He was located and arrested.

Friday, April 8

11:47 a.m.: Officers responded to 74501 Avenue 42 apartments B5 and B6 reference the report of multiple gunshots heard and people screaming. Upon arrival officers were directed to B5 where they encountered a male deceased and a small child suffering from a gunshot wound.

Officers learned an additional gunshot victim was at the office within the complex. Witnesses said a male armed with a handgun exited B5 and entered B6 after the gun shots were heard. A perimeter was established and the area was secured. The child was airlifted to Desert Hospital. The third victim was transported to Desert Hospital. An occupant from B6 called dispatch and advised he wanted to turn himself in. A takedown team was established. The suspect, Juan Acala, 42, of Palm Desert exited B6 and was taken into custody without further incident.

Thursday, April 7

12:40 a.m.: Officers arrested Melissa Burbank, 30, of Palm Springs, for driving under the influence of alcohol, at Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street.

12:30 p.m.: Investigators arrested Roman Valencia, 41, of Thousand Palms for commercial burglary, conspiracy and fraudulent use of credit cards.

3:30 p.m.: Officers arrested Maciel Rogelio Cruz, 28, of Palm Desert for an outstanding warrant in the area of San Marcos and Highway 111.

6:30 p.m. Officers arrested Figuero Octavio, 40, of Palm Desert for public intoxication in the 42000 block of Warner Trail.

8:37 p.m.: Officers arrested Fabrizo Javier Dora, 35, in the 45000 block of Lantana Avenue for an outstanding felony warrant and possession of a controlled substance.

Wednesday, April 6

1:26 a.m.: Officers arrested Karl Huffman, 43, of Palm Desert for possession of a controlled substance. Huffman was arrested at the 42000 block of Washington Street.

2 a.m.: Officers arrested Dylan Flynn Villalta, 19, of Palm Desert for public intoxication. Villalta was arrested in the 42000 block of San Rafael in Palm Desert.

6:21 p.m.: Officers arrested Raymond Barry, 58, of Palm Desert,for violation of a court order at the 41000 block of Ward Drive.
