Tuesday, Nov. 1

12:18 a.m.: Officers arrested for unlawful assembly at Civic Center Park.

5:24 a.m.: Officers arrested Ryan Rocha, 21, of Palm Desert for being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 77-000 block of Edenborough Street.

9:45 p.m.: Officers arrested Matthew Shatswell, 28, of Palm Desert for discharging a firearm in a negligent manner, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a butterfly knife in the 77-000 block of Michigan Dr. 

11:30 p.m.: Officer arrested , 66, of Indio, who was found within Civic Center Park. Wheat was arrested for Palm Desert Municipal Codes (PDMC) 11.01.80(R) and taken to the Indio Jail for booking.

Monday, Oct. 31

5:58 p.m.: Officers arrested a 17-year-old juvenile of Cathedral City, at the Target store in Palm Desert for shoplifting.

8:02 p.m.: Officers arrested Jennifer Curtis, 25, of Palm Desert for possession of heroin in the 46-000 block of Highway 74. 

Sunday, Oct. 30

12:05 a.m.: Officers responded to Fred Waring Drive and Cook Street reference a vehicle versus motorcycle hit & run traffic collision. The investigation revealed Anessa Diaz, 27, of Coachella struck her boyfriend with her vehicle. Diaz was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Saturday, Oct. 29

2:40 a.m.: Officers arrested Dory Morrel, 25, of Palm Desert for driving while under the influence at Portola and Highway 111.

4:30 a.m.: Officers arrested Matthew Levers, 21, of Blythe for public intoxication at Portola and Country Club during a pedestrian check.

3:59 p.m.: Officers arrested Ryan Margerison, age 18 of Palm Springs, and a 14- year-old juvenile for shoplifting, within the 72000 block of Highway lll.

6:10 p.m.: Officers arrested Julianne Fishketa, 28, of Desert Hot Springs for an outstanding felony warrant at Monterey Avenue and Dinah Shore Drive.

7 p.m.: Officers arrested Rogelio Cruz Mauez, 29, for an outstanding felony warrant, within the 73000 block of San Nicholas.

10:40 p.m.: Officers conducted a warrant service in the 77000 block of Michigan, and arrested Jeremy Myer, 29, of Palm Desert for a felony warrant.

Friday, Oct. 28

No significant incidents.

Thursday, Oct. 27

2:30 p.m.: Officers arrested Jose Villareal, for commercial burglary at Macys in Palm Desert.

3:20 p.m.: Officers arrested Alicia Fuentes, 33, of Palm Desert for being under the influence of a controlled substance at Highway 111 and Deep Canyon.

10:03 p.m.: Officers arrested Catherine Hinojosa, age 21 of Palm Desert, for domestic violence in the 45000 block of Deep Canyon.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

11 a.m.: Officers responded to the Leeds and Son’s Jewelry store located in the 73-000 block of Highway 111 regarding an armed robbery. Several males entered the store with high powered rifles. The suspects stole numerous pieces of jewelry and fled the location in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
