POLICE BLOTTER: Meth Possession, Alcohol Theft

Saturday, Jan. 28

1:49 a.m.: Officers responded to 77000 block of Michigan Drive and arrested Fernando Lazano, 21, of Palm Desert for domestic violence.

8:15 p.m.: Officers responded to the 48500 block of Valley View and arrested Jack Bent, 44, of Palm Desert for a felony DUI warrant.

Thursday, Jan. 26

5 p.m.: Officers responded to Wal-Mart, 34500 Monterey, Palm Desert regarding a theft. Loss Prevention followed a sixteen year-old female across the street at another business. The juvenile was found hiding and taken into custody without incident. The juvenile admitted to stealing alcohol.

6:03 p.m.: Officers responded to the 35000 block of Gateway, Palm Desert regarding a domestic disturbance. Kristin Elizabeth Bauer, 33, of Palm Desert was arrested for domestic battery.

Wednesday, Jan. 25

12:05 a.m.: A Burglary Suppression Deputy was flagged down in the area of 77400 Michigan, Palm Desert regarding a trespassing. Rodney Price, 31, of Bermuda Dunes was subsequently arrested for a felony drug warrant. Additionally, Price was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

2:37 a.m.: Officers received information regarding a robbery suspect from last week that occurred at Albertson’s located at Washington and Hovley, Palm Desert. Officers arrested a 17 year-old suspect in the 77800 block of Michigan.

5:03 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic stop on Michigan and Idaho, Palm Desert. A 15 year-old male passenger was arrested for a felony no-bail vandalism warrant.
