Tuesday, April 10

2:23 a.m.: Officers arrested Jay Bortel, 59, from Palm Desert, for spousal abuse at Tava Lane apartments.

1:48 a.m.: Officers arrested Justin Jackson, 26, from Whitewater, for Public Intoxication within the 76800 block of California.

5:30 p.m.: Officers responded to the 42400 block of Iowa reference a domestic disturbance and arrested James Smith, 57, from Palm Desert, for domestic battery.

Sunday, April 8

2:02 a.m. : Officers arrested Pamela Houston, 55, from Palm Desert, for public intoxication at 72300 Hwy 111 ().

11:30 p.m.: Officers arrested Kurt Richard Minter, 53, from Palm Desert, for domestic battery within the 38000 block of Devils Canyon.

Saturday, April 7

12:51 a.m.: Traffic officers arrested Hajiel Jimenez, 19, from Palm Springs, for driving under the influence of alcohol at Cook Street & Varner Road in Thousand Palms.

4:29 p.m. : Officers responded to the pool area on report of a male subject exposing himself to several females. Nicholas Skinner, 27, from Palm Desert, was arrested for indecent exposure.

5:19 p.m. : Officers responded to and arrested Manuel Arce, 33, from Indio, for commercial burglary.

6:48 p.m.: Officers responded to and arrested Alisha Elam, 28, from Palm Springs, for robbery and an outstanding felony warrant. Elam had numerous credit cards, ID cards and social security cards in her possession.

Friday, April 6

No significant activity.

Thursday, April 5

10:01 a.m.: Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Monterey Avenue and Dinah Shore Drive. Joshua Buttles, 24, from Corona, was arrested for possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic needle.

Wednesday, April 4

2:00 a.m.:  Officers arrested Jordan Thomas Elkins, 24, from Palm Desert, for possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle, being under the influence of a controlled substance and violation of probation.

6:30 p.m.:  Officers responded to reference a theft. Miguel Longines, 18, from Cathedral City, and Cenobio Lopez, 19, from Rancho Mirage, were arrested for shoplifting and conspiracy.
