POLICE BLOTTER: Unlawful Sex With A Minor

Wednesday, Feb. 22

1 p.m.:  The Burglary Suppression Unit conducted a follow-up regarding a Cal-ID fingerprint match obtained during a residential burglary in January. Officers responded to the 42600 block of Wisconsin, Palm Desert and arrested Charley Beushausen, 19, of Palm Desert for burglary.

6:23 p.m.:  Officers responded to Trader Joes, 44250 Town Center, Palm Desert regarding a female on the ground. Pamela Houston, 55, of Palm Desert was arrested for public intoxication.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

1 p.m.:  Officers arrested Bonnie Jenkins, 36, of Palm Desert for public intoxication in the 73700 block of Country Club Drive.

5 p.m.: The Burglary Suppression Unit followed up on a residential burglary investigation and responded to the 73700 block of Kelsey Court.  Ryan Rocha, 22, of Palm Desert was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property, and a probation violation.

5:06 p.m.:  Officers conducted a pedestrian check at Plaza and Hwy 111and arrested Jamie Dodge, 24, a Palm Desert transient for an outstanding warrant.

5:30 p.m.:  Officers responded to Wal-Mart at 34500 Monterey Ave., reference a theft. Dina Drown, 34, of La Quinta was arrested for shoplifting.

7:27 p.m.:  Officers responded to Wal-Mart at 34500 Monterey, reference a theft. Evangelina Sauceda, 41, of Indio was arrested for shoplifting.

Monday, Feb. 20

12:46 a.m.: Officers arrested Matt Thompson, 36, of Palm Desert at De Anza Way and San Luis Rey for driving under the influence of alcohol.

8:35 a.m.:  Officers arrested Richard Kratavil, 28, of Palm Desert for domestic battery at the 40000 block of Shady Gale Lane.

6:35 p.m.: Officers arrested Hugo Martinez, 28, of Palm Desert for spousal abuse at the 74000 block of Highway 111.

Sunday, Feb. 19

12:50 a.m.: Officers arrested a juvenile for an outstanding Transportation of a Controlled Substance Warrant at the 77000 block of Country Club Drive.

3 a.m.: Officers arrested Brianna Miller, 30, of Palm Desert for driving under the influence at Panorama and Abronia Trail. 

4:54 a.m.: Officers arrested Robin Silverstein, 56, of San Jose for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being an unlicensed driver at Parkview and Monterey.

7:06 p.m.: Officers arrested Dennis McBride, 33, of Palm Desert for public intoxication at the 43000 block of Buena Cir. in Palm Desert. 

8:30 p.m.: Officers arrested Brandon Webster, 19, of Palm Desert at the 77000 Block of Michigan for Possession of Methamphetamine, and driving without a license.

11:49 p.m.: Officers arrested Bradley Olds, 19, of Bermuda Dunes for possession of a dirk/dagger at California and Michigan.

Saturday, Feb. 18

6:43 p.m.: Officers arrested James Patrick Regan Jr., 18, of Palm Desert for public intoxication at the 74000 block of Avenue 42.

7:46 p.m.: Investigations arrested Manuel Eduardo Moya, 22, of Palm Desert for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor under age 16 at the 73000 block of Catalina Way.

Friday, Feb. 17

12:01 a.m.: While investigating a hit and run traffic collision in the area of Goleta and Deep Canyon, officers conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle. Daniel Mario Limon, 36, of Palm Desert was determined not be involved in the collision but was subsequently arrested for driving while impaired.

11:59 a.m.:  Officers arrested a 17-year-old, Palm Desert High School student, for petty theft. The property was recovered and the student was released to his parent.

Thursday, Feb. 16

2:32 p.m.: Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Hovley Lane and Portola and arrested Stacy Sullivan, 48, of Palm Springs, for possession of methamphetamine. 

Wednesday, Feb. 15

10:53 p.m.: Officers responded to a vehicle burglary in the 43800 block of Warner Trail, Palm Desert. Jacob Thompson Garczynski, 19, of La Quinta, and Andrew Urbano, 18, of Indio were located walking in the area and detained. Both were positively identified and arrested. The victim’s property was in their possession and both were charged with burglary and conspiracy. Additionally, Garczynski was charged with possession of stolen property.
