A traffic crash with minor injuries led to the arrest of a DUI suspect in Palm Desert Saturday, officials said.
Yousef Mustafa Odeh 41, of Palm Desert, booked into the Indio Larson Justice Centerl on suspicion of DUI, following treatment for minor injuries at a local hospital.
Odeh was released on bond for $2,500 and ordered back to court Sept. 11.
The crash was reported shortly before 2 a.m. on De Anza Way and San Pascual Avenue, according to Riverside County sheriff’s St. Dan Devinny.
Odeh was allegedly driving his Porsche 944 east on De Anza when the car struck a tree, wrecking his vehicle, the sergeant said.
Traffic Investigators determined he was impaired and took him to the hospital for treatment, Devinny said.
