Robbers Hit La Quinta Circle K

A man robbed a Circle K store in La Quinta early Tuesday morning, but no injuries were reported.

The robbery was reported around 1:15 a.m. at the Circle K at 78110 Calle Tampico. A man carrying a firearm entered, demanded money from the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build and wearing dark clothing.
