Rollover Injures Four, Two Severely, on Freeway

Four were hurt today when the vehicle they traveled in flipped over on eastbound Interstate 10 in Indio, a fire spokesman said.

The rollover crash happened east of the Jackson Street on-ramp and was reported Sunday, 1:24 p.m., Riverside County Fire Department spokesman Mark Annas said.

Two people were taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries while two other occupants were also sent to a hospital for moderate injuries, Annas said.

There was no word on how the crash happened.
