UPDATE: Shoplifting Couple Hits Louis Vuitton in El Paseo

Deputies continue search for couple who stole from El Paseo store.

This story was last updated Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. with descriptions of suspects.

Two shoplifters at the Louis Vuitton store on El Paseo pushed past a clerk who tried to stop them from leaving the store Tuesday, and then jumped into a waiting car, a Riverside County Sheriff's Department spokesman said.

The crime in the 73-500 block of El Paseo was reported about 1:15 p.m.,
according to Deputy Angel Ramos.

The couple took several pieces of high value luggage before pushing thier way out of the store.

Two suspects are now being looked for:

  • Suspect number one was described as a black male in his 30's with braided hair, approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 180 pounds.
  • Suspect number two was described as a black female in her 30's, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds. 

Both fled in a white four-door sedan.

Anyone with more information was urged to call deputies at the Palm Desert station at (760) 836-1600.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
