UPDATE: Trial Readiness for Three Men Postponed

The three men, all gang members from the Los Angeles area, have had a postponement ordered for a trial readiness conference following a 2011 El Paseo robbery and high speed chase.

A continuance has been ordered on a trial readiness conference for three Los Angeles County men accused of robbing Leeds & Son fine jewelers in July 2011 and leading police on a county-wide chase. 

Zaque Xavier Sykes, 27, Joshua Marquise Madison, 18, both of Compton, and Brandon Christian King, 20, of Los Angeles, are accused in the July 1, 2011 robbery of .   Read more about the incident . 

The trial readiness hearing is now scheduled for May 14. Each man is facing three counts of robbery, one count of burglary, and one count of evading arrest.  All counts have an additional violent felony enhancement for gang activity.
