Two Hikers Rescued from Bump and Grind Trail
CalFire assists two hikers on hike early Thursday
Two hikers have been taken to an area hospital with minor injuries after an early morning hike on the Bump and Grind trail went wrong.
According to fire department spokesperson Jody Hagemann, the hikers made a 911 call at 6:19 a.m. complaining that one hiker was having an allergy attack, while another was suffering from dehydration.
The unnamed hikers, one mile up the hilly trail, were originally planned to be rescued by helicopter, but according to Hagemann, both walked down the trail assisted by fire fighters.
