Two Injured in DUI rollover Crash

Overnight crash sends two to hospital - driver sent to jail

Two people are recovering after the car they were riding in rolled while making a turn in Palm Desert early Tuesday.  The driver, Christopher Reynoso, 25, of Corona, was arrested for suspicion of DUI. 

According to Palm Desert Police Sergeant Brad Farwell,  Reynoso’s car was turning into northbound Monterey Avenue from Country Club Drive just after midnight when it struck a curb and rolled over.   

Reynoso and his two passengers were taken to Eisenhower Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Reynoso was transported to Indio Jail, and was charged with two counts of DUI with injuries. He remains in jail on $100,000 bail.   He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, according to jail records.
