Two people had to be treated at a hospital following a three-car crash in Palm Desert.
The crash was reported to Riverside County CAL Fire along Highway 74 at Cahuilla Way, at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday, according to Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.
Crews had to use extrication tools to get one person out of a vehicle, Hendrickson said, adding that one person had "moderate" injuries, while the other only had minor injuries.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
