Two teenage girls were shot and wounded during a shooting at a house party in Indio just after midnight Saturday.
The girls were found wounded outside a home in the 82300 block of Priscilla Court by someone inside a black sedan that drove by the girls, Indio police spokesman Ben Guitron said.
The girls were sent to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Guitron said. The injuries, however, appear to be serious, Guitron added.
None of the party-goers cooperated with police and there were no other descriptions of the shooters, who drove off in a westbound direction from the Priscilla Court home, Guitron said.
Police asked anyone with information about the crime to call Indio Police at (760) 391-4051. Tipsters wanting to remain anonymous can also call Valley Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-7867, Guitron said.
