Want to Join the CHP? Recruitment Seminar Planned in Palm Desert

"Attending a seminar is highly recommended to anyone who plans on submitting an application," the agency said.

The following is a news release from the California Highway Patrol: 

The California Highway Patrol will be hosting a recruiting seminar on May 28 at 6:00 p.m. at the College of the Desert Public Safety Academy in Palm Desert.  

The California Highway Patrol will be accepting applications this year and are looking for highly motivated individuals who are ready to serve the public and the State of California with pride.  Attending a seminar is highly recommended to anyone who plans on submitting an application.

If you are between the ages of 20 and 35, possess a high school diploma, are a U.S. Citizen and can pass an extensive physical and background check; there is no better time than right now to apply to become a CHP Officer.  The seminar will include information about the hiring process, academy in Sacramento and the many opportunities upon graduation of the academy.  The pay and benefits are great. The opportunity for advancement is outstanding. The ability to serve your community and the public is rewarding.
