Witnesses sought in Highway 74 crash

The injury crash occurred in March a mile east of Vista Point.

The California Highway Patrol asked today for witnesses to come forward of a crash on Highway 74 south of Palm Desert that injured a motorcyclist and a motorist.

"We want to make sure our bases are covered,'' Zagorski told City News Service.

The crash was reported at 9:50 a.m. Thursday on state Route 74, about 1 mile east of Vista Point, according to CHP Officer Joe Zagorski.

A motorcyle and two cars were involved in the fiery wreck, according to news reports at the time.

The CHP hopes to find additional witnesses to the crash, even those that passed by the scene immediately following the crash, Zagorski said.
