Woman Accused Of Driving Drunk In Injury Crash
Investigators will recommend she be charged with driving under the influence, causing injury.
Charges were pending today for a 19-year-old La Quinta woman suspected of driving drunk when she rear ended another vehicle, injuring the driver.
Officers responded to a report of an injury traffic collision at 2 a.m. Sunday at Highway 111 and Portola Avenue in Palm Desert, according to the Palm Desert Police Department.
Maria Munoz was allegedly intoxicated when she slammed into another vehicle, police said.
