Woman Crashes Through Indian Wells Street Divide, Alcohol Suspected

A suspected drunken driver barreled across a center median early Thursday in Indian Wells and was arrested, a sergeant said.

Tiffany Lynn Sill, 21, of Cathedral City, was heading east on Fred Waring Drive when she lost control of her Kia Spectra and crossed the raised center median at Elkhorn Trail, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Ken Black said.

Her vehicle blocked westbound traffic during the mishap that was reported at 12:21 a.m., he said.

Sill drove alone and escaped injury. She was booked on suspicion of drunken driving and released on $2,500 bail, records showed.
