A woman was shot in the leg in Cathedral City Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported about 2:10 p.m. in the 33500 block of Wishing Well Trail, but the circumstances were not immediately clear.
The unidentiffied woman's wound wasn't life-threatening, according to Cathedral City police Capt. Chuck Robinson.
