Ruiz to Hold 'Medicare Town Hall' Meeting Thursday

Congressional challenger and physician to talk in Palm Springs about concerns on the future of medicare.

Congressional candidate Raul Ruiz (D-Coachella) will host a "Medicare Town Hall" meeting Thursday to discuss concerns over the direction of Medicare.

The meeting will, according to a Ruiz press release, "discuss the importance of saving this vital program that our Seniors depend on in their retirement years and talk about ways we can lower the costs of healthcare in this country."

The event is open to the public and takes place at 12:00 noon at the Mizell Senior Center, 480 S. Sunrise Way in Palm Springs.

Like a Democrat could possibly offer any solutions to anything without calling for more taxation, more regulation and more spending. I can hear the canned speech already.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
