The group representing the CHP rank-and-file puts it's support behind Bono Mack

The Mary Bono Mack Committee announced on Wednesday that the California Association of Highway Patrolmen (CAHP) has endorsed Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack's candidacy for California's 36th Congressional District.

"Through her leadership in Congress, Mary Bono Mack has demonstrated her staunch commitment to the ideals of the CAHP and her understanding of the issues facing the law enforcement community," said Doug Villars, CAHP President . "We are grateful for the outstanding job Congresswoman Bono Mack is doing and we offer her our wholehearted endorsement."

"I am humbled to receive the endorsement of the CAHP and to have the support of their members. I have always held Highway Patrolmen and all law enforcement professionals in the highest regard for the outstanding work they do to protect and serve our community. It is truly an honor to have their endorsement and I look forward to continuing to partner with CAHP and all members of the law enforcement community in our district and state," Bono Mack added.

The California Association of Highway Patrolmen is dedicated to representing men and women of The California Highway Patrol and providing them with the support and assistance they need.

Congresswoman Bono Mack is currently running for re-election in the newly redrawn 36th Congressional District, and is California's only Republican woman in Washington.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
