Bono Mack Welcomes First Grandchild

The baby boy shares the same birthday as Rep. Mary Bono Mack's late husband Sonny Bono.

Rep. Mary Bono Mack, R-Palm Springs, and her husband, Congressman Connie Mack, R-Fla., announced the birth of their first grandchild today.

Sonny William Hrabe was born on Thursday afternoon Feb. 16, 2012 to Chianna Bono and Mark Hrabe in Northern Virginia.

"We are so delighted and thrilled with the birth of our first grandson, Sonny William Hrabe," Bono Mack said in a statement. "Both mom and baby are healthy and doing very well, and Chianna is overjoyed about becoming a mother.

Sonny William Hrabe was born at 3:12 p.m. (EST) and weighed 8 pounds and 6 ounces.

"We couldn't have asked for a better birthday for our grandson. February 16th is a very special day in our family – In addition to their names, our new grandson shares the same birthday as my late husband, Sonny, and his father as well,” said Bono Mack.
