Council to Consider El Paseo Closures
Special events coming to Palm Desert ask for closures of El Paseo
The Palm Desert City Council this week will likely approve the closure of El Paseo for two events coming in November.
The first event is asking for a complete closure on El Paseo, between Highway 74 and Ocotillo Drive and to allow alcoholic beverage consumption during a special event to benefit the “Behind A Miracle” fund-raiser on November 17.
The second event is a request to close El Paseo and some adjacent streets for the Annual Martha's Village Thanksgiving Day 5K run/walk on November 22nd.
