Democrats Go After Bono Mack in New Ad
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee launches anti-Bono Mack ad
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has bought time on local broadcast and cable outlets for its first ad of the election season, taking aim at Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (R-Palm Springs).
The DCCC had already pledged to spend $285,000 in effort to unseat the incumbent in favor of Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Coachella) in the redrawn 36th Congressional District (formerly the 45th).
Ruiz is listed by the DCCC as one of the "Dean Dozen", twelve Democratic challengers running in Republican-held districts which the DCCC believes they can win.
