Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (R-Palm Springs) has released her first campaign ad for the November election.
Titled "Effective", the ad highlights achievements the Congresswoman has made during her terms in the House.
Some Democrats, including the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, are knocking the ad for listing the renaming of the Palm Desert Post Office on Portola as an achievement.
The Post Office branch was re-named for the late Riverside County Supervisor Roy Wilson in 2010, but is not mentioned verbally in the ad.
