Bono Mack Applauds Romney VP Pick

Congresswoman speaks on Romney choice of Paul Ryan as VP candidate

Following the announcement from presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) as his Vice Presidential candidate, Rep. Mary Bono Mack (R-Palm Springs) gave approval of the selection.

“Governor Mitt Romney’s selection of Congressman Paul Ryan is the right choice for America," the Congresswoman said via a press release.  "It sends a strong message that President Romney will lead with bold economic policies to rebuild our economy, create jobs, hold the line on taxes, and bring down out of control wasteful spending. The team of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan is one the nation can rally behind and move us into a better and more prosperous tomorrow. I know Congressman Ryan and I know him to be a man of integrity and ability.”

"BOLD economic policies "??? Turning Medicare into a voucher system which will cost seniors up to $12,000 more yearly ? Removing the home mortgage interest deduction from middle class tax payers ? Removing the credit we California taxpayers get for state taxes on our federal taxes ? No the Romney-Ryan ticket will only benefit the rich at the expense of the middle class.

Mary Bono has now come out of the closet, and moving further to the right with her husband Connie Mack. Is she representing her constituency or the GOP platform?

Now you can vote for Ruiz with confidence! Records show!! 1. Ryan voted against the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" 2. Ryan voted against allowing LGBT couples to adopt children in Washington, D.C. 3. Ryan has voted for creating a National Constitutional Amendment banning marriage equality. 4. Ryan voted against the Matthew Shepard/ James Byrd Hate Crimes Legislation. Everyone is proclaiming what a 'bold' choice Congressman Paul Ryan is for Romney. Bold? There is nothing bold about a man with so little conscience that he would wipe out programs for the poor, cut back benefits for seniors and remove most environmental protections. As if that is not enough he would decrease taxes for the rich and allow corporations free will to do as they please with America. This is not a bold choice but a bad choice - bad for America, bad for its citizens and bad for the LGBT community.

Mrs. Mack should remember that a large part of her constituency are seniors. If the Romney/Ryan team can pull off the senior vote, then the seniors that helped them get elected deserve what they get: fewer Social Security benefits and more out of pocket expenses for Medicare.

My vote will go to Bono Mack. As a Constitutional conservative, I think Ryan is an excellent choice for V.P. R & R in 2012! (psssst--R doesn't mean Ruiz!)

Typical ad hominem attack from an obvious liberal, and totally inappropriate. Have a nice day.

"Typical ad hominem attack from an obvious liberal, and totally inappropriate. Have a nice day." While you may be correct in the "Ad hominem" attack. Didn't you just do the same by calling him an "obvious liberal?" And the definition of a "Constitutional conservative" and Paul Ryan being one is open for considerable debate.
