Paving Work Set On Three PD Streets

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Another roadwork project is set for three Palm Desert streets this week.

Crews will be paving lanes on El Dorado Drive, Country Club Drive, and Frank Sinatra Drive, starting Monday through Wednesday, according to city spokesman Davis Hermann.

Work will begin on the northbound number one lane of Eldorado from just south of Country Club to Frank Sinatra, Hermann said.

Crews will then begin paving all lanes on Frank Sinatra in both directions between El Dorado and Tamarisk, he said.

The project’s final stage will be paving the intersection of Country Club and Eldorado, which is scheduled to take place Wednesday, November 23. This final stage is expected to have the most significant impact on traffic.
