Ruiz reacts to SCOTUS Health Care Decision

Statement from the physician running for Congress

Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Coachella), challenger for the 36th Congressional District seat, issued this statement regarding the Supreme Court Decision .

“The Supreme has now resolved the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, ensuring that people with preexisting conditions, students, the middle class and thousands of small businesses will have access to affordable health care.

"Clearly, there is more work to be done to improve the health care system, and as a doctor, I am uniquely positioned to help make that happen.

In contrast, Mary Bono Mack is on the side of big insurance companies and would let them deny coverage to thousands of local residents, and thousands more who cannot afford care.

"We need a congressperson who will work to end gridlock, fight for the middle class and put people back to work, not one who creates gridlock for political gain.”

So Ruiz goes on the record that he's for mandatory taxation and socialized medicine.......at least he's clear on that.

Shocker! Big government, big tax, big spending Ruiz supports the Obama/Pelosi/Reid healthcare takeover! He's more out of touch that anyone could have ever imagined!

Ruiz is the only M.D. I know who is in favor of the bill. Just curious: does he practice medicine?

Dr. Ruiz is a prince! Thank God he'll be replacing Bono-Mack and says he wants to save The Salton Sea!

Mandatory taxation? All taxes are mandatory - try not paying sales tax? Or would you prefer to maintain your own roads and bridges. And this is nowhere near socialized medicine. I'm assuming you'll turn Medicare and Social Security down when you reach the age for it. Dr. Ruiz is for health care for people - or do you think it should be a privelege for a select few?

Thanks to the President, his administration, and the Supreme Court, more than 30,000 additional Americans will benefit from receiving affordable, good quality, health care. Now we need to improve the current Affordable Care Act, with the help of Dr. Ruiz and lots of folks like him! It's past time for Rep. Mack to retire.

Ruiz is an anchor baby. What else do you expect?
