Today, Californians for a Stronger America, a SuperPAC formed to support Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack (R-Palm Springs), released a negative advertisement attacking Congressional candidate Dr. Raul Ruiz (D-Coachella).
In response, Ruiz issued this statement:
“It says a lot about how much Congresswoman Bono Mack has changed that her first ads come from an anonymous, out-of-state committee, run by a man once labeled a ‘henchman’ and ‘political hack’ by the New York Daily News.”
“The old Mary Bono Mack never would have let this happen. Washington has changed her,” he continued. “Mary Bono Mack has become just another hyper-partisan career politician who cares more about her political career than doing what’s right.”
