Motorists are beings advised there will be a lane closure on Cook Street Tuesday.
Crews will close the far right lane, or number two lane, from Aztec Road to Sheryl Avenue from 6:30 a.m. to about 2 p.m. while workers make repairs to a traffic signal interconnect conduit, Palm Desert officials said through a news release.
Officials recommend drivers allow extra time for travel or they use an alternate route such as Portola or Monterey avenues.
