Additional Math Authorization Offered to Local Teachers

Cal State San Bernardino’s Palm Desert Campus will offer middle and high school teachers the opportunity to increase their marketability with a math authorization for their credential.

is offering an Introductory Subject Matter Authorization in Mathematics, according to the university's spokesman Mike Singer.

Singer said teachers must possess a valid prerequisite teaching credential and complete 48 quarter units with a grade of C or better, which includes at least four quarter units in each required content area – algebra, advanced algebra, geometry, probability and statistics, real number system or introduction to mathematics.
