Ameritas College, a division of Brandman University, opened its Palm Desert branch on Thursday. The Palm Desert campus is the sixth opened by Ameritas since being founded earlier this year.
The location, at 42-600 Cook Street, Suite 134, will have classes geared toward Hispanics and will be staffed by bilingual teachers.
Brandman is designed to offer eduactional opportunities for working adults, and is a division of Orange County-based Champan University.
