CSUSB Palm Desert to Offer SAT Prep Course for High School Students

Special course for the Scholastic Aptitude Test available to juniors and seniors to be held this weekend and next at the college's Palm Desert campus.

Officials at Cal State San Bernadino’s Palm Desert campus have announced a special preparation course for the Scholastic Aptitude Test will be offered on April 9 and 16.

“We’ve noticed a recent increase in the demand for this type of test prep course,” said program administrator Steve McAdams. “My sense is that students are more concerned in today’s competitive environment about getting accepted to college.”

McAdams noted that the course is geared to high school juniors and seniors planning to take the SAT offered on May 7 or beyond and will be a valuable experience for students hoping to improve their scores..

The two-session course will be held at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus, 37-500 Cook St., on both days. The official SAT study guide will be included with the registration fee of $155.
