Hours Changing for COD Street Fair

Street Fair fans get expanded shopping hours, starting in October

The popular College of the Desert Street Fair will be returning to its expanded fall hours starting on October 6th, when it will be open form 7:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Street Fair is held at the northwest corner of the campus, just north of Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert on Monterey Avenue. The outdoor experience features 300 merchant vendors and open-air shopping for the entire family with a selection of unique gifts for all occasions, a farmers’ market, and refreshment booths. There is free admission, parking, and entertainment. 

The non-profit COD Alumni Association operates the Street Fair, the proceeds fro which are used  the help COD for student services, projects, and scholarships. Since its inception 29 years ago, the Alumni Association has given more than $9.3 million to the college.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
