LQAF Scholarship Winners Announced

The winners will attend schools in Palm Desert and across Southern California.

The La Quinta Arts Foundation (LQAF) has awarded $89,500 to 38 art majors to attend college during the 2011/12 academic year.

"LQAF scholarships are unique in that we strive to support students throughout their college years, not just the first or second year, as is the case of so many other scholarship programs,’’ Executive Director Christi Salamone said.

This year's winners and recipients will attend schools in Palm Desert and across Southern California.
