Palm Desert Robotics Team Takes First Place in San Diego Competition

Thirty Palm Desert Charter Middle School students attended the 2011 Botball Regionals at the University of San Diego.

Palm Desert Charter Middle School won the Botball Robotics Tournament in San Diego this weekend, beating out teams from around Southern California and Mexico City.

The team, which was comprised of about 30 students, received nine awards, including Outstanding Middle School Team, Judges' Choice Award, Third Place Seeding Rounds, two finalist awards, Third Place Overall, First Place Seeding, First Place Double Elimination and First Place Overall at the Southern California Botball Robotics Tournament.
