Whiz Kid: Brody Trent

Name: Brody Trent, age 6

Accomplishment: Brody was the winner among 300 Coachella Valley children under the age of 12 in the Living Desert's naming contest for its jaguar. Zoo officials chose the name Magia, which is Spanish for magic. Brody wrote in his submission: "We should call her magic because she can disappear into the trees and when she sees her prey she pounces from out of no where. She magically appears."
