Aztec Baseball, Tennis Teams Honored For CIF Victories
Palm Desert High School Athletic Director Dale Salazar accepted the award on behalf of both teams.
The Palm Desert High School baseball and boy’s tennis teams were honored Thursday for their victories during the 2011 season.
The baseball team, which had a 28-5 record, was at Dodger Stadium.
Aztec tennis top seeded Santa Monica for the CIF title.

“You’re helping our youth tremendously,’’ said PDHS Athletic Director Darol Salazar told council members at a Thursday meeting.
Councilwoman Jan Harnik presented Salazar with two plaques to honor the teams.
