They will compete at 120 courts covering a five-mile radius, organizers said.

The entry fee is $200.00 per player and includes a ticket to the 2012 BNP Paribas Open finals March 18, as well as a continental breakfast March 19, and the player reception and dinner March 21.

"We are thrilled to return for our 19th year as the premier senior tennis tournament in the Coachella Valley," said BNP Paribas Open Senior Cup Co-Director George Anich.

"Having the Senior Cup integrated with the BNP Paribas Open, one of the most successful professional tournaments in the world, is a unique and memorable experience for all of our competitors."

A third event – the BNP Paribas Open Tri-Level Championship – will be held for the sixth year.

The championship will include 17 USTA Sections that will get the chance to send a team to compete in an amateur doubles tournament in the final weekend of the Paribas Open.

“The Senior Cup and Tri-Level Championships continue to enhance the BNP Paribas Open experience for players and fans of all ages,” said Tournament Director Steve Simon. “These events allow for hundreds of players to have the opportunity to play at a world-class tennis facility alongside the best players the game of tennis has to offer.”
